Description
Nerva is in a convenience store, with the goal of buying Dana some flip-flops, and maybe a change of clothes for herself (if she can swing it with her borrowed cash).
Book 1 involved a lot of head-stretching bizarreness. But I like seeing weird characters with immensely complex litanies of damage in their backstory just wandering through relatively normal settings. It's both comforting and upsetting!

hmm... now this is surprising... is that a hint on Nerva borrowing money from Dana even though her "billpocket" can clearly be seen in the first panel? Does she just not want to spend her own money on buying something for Dana? 
I love the casual wandering of Nerva through the shop on this page, like how she keeps on looking back at the dollar bill, it's like she wants to make sure it really is just that amount of money and it's not going to increase
also, that sweat pants sign reflecting in Nerva's eyes is quite the smart artistic move to indicate what caught her eyes ^^
However my favorite is still the way she strolls around and looks through various items... she even takes the size of the shoes into account!
