I see you've found a better solution to indicate panel order than I did 
I like how you showed Dana's head twice or more each time to show that his attention is diverted from the book towards the dryer. Same with the dryer; you can see the movement and that something is going on within the dryer even without text, even though I still like the "KRN" and "wham" sound effects you included here and there! The pace of your panels is slow (for example Dana takes more than one panel to give away the book and actually realize something is off with the dryer), then the pace speeds up with the dryer's sound effects until the "Wham".
However I still yet have to find out what the colored last panel's meaning is, also it was a little hard to guess that Nerva's head is under the jacket in the beginning, but after reading your explanation I think I got it, spotting her hand under the jacket in the fifteenth panel.
